As an Executive Vice President for Brown & Brown of Florida, Inc., Peter is responsible for the performance and growth of Brown & Brown’s retail operations in Central Florida. He began his tenure at Brown & Brown in 1997, and since that time has served in numerous positions including Vice President – Sales in the corporate office in Daytona Beach, Florida, and Senior Vice President - Sales Team Leader in the Orlando office.
Prior to joining Brown & Brown, Peter was an Associate Vice President for First Union Bank. He obtained a B.B.A. in Finance from Stetson University, in DeLand, Florida, and holds a Florida 2-20 General Lines Property & Casualty License as well as insurance licenses for Life, Health and Variable Annuities. In addition, he earned the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 2000.
Peter is active in the community, and serves on the boards of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida, Junior Achievement, and Stetson University School of Business. He lives with his wife, Amy, in Orlando, where they enjoy all types of outdoor activities, fitness, and travel.
As Senior Vice President and Sales Team Leader, Nicole is responsible for driving the sales strategy for retail property and casualty at Brown & Brown of Florida, Inc. She began her journey with Brown & Brown in 2005 in property and casualty rising through the ranks of Vice President and Senior Vice President. In addition, Nicole earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2013.
Prior to Brown & Brown, Nicole was a Branch Manager/Executive Sales for two Randstad offices. She obtained her B.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences, Speech Communication with an emphasis on Public Relations from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Nicole, along with her husband, Trip, have two children. They spend their free time actively volunteering in leadership roles with the Boy and Girl Scouts for their children. Additionally, they enjoy the mountains of North Carolina, hunting in Alabama and raising cattle.
Bryan is the Executive Vice President of Employee Benefits for Brown & Brown of Orlando. He is responsible for the overall performance of the Employee Benefits Division. Bryan has been with Brown & Brown since 2001 and has helped grow the benefits team from 2 to 30 teammates. The team is the only one in the company that has earned the B&B Employee Benefits Division of the Year, 4 times. In addition to his leadership role, he is a highly respected broker in the Health and Welfare space. He has served on various broker advisory boards for UHC, Florida Blue, CIGNA, Aetna, the Brown & Brown Employee Benefits Leadership Council and is a national member of NAHU. Bryan is originally from Ohio, where he attended The University of Toledo and obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, along with his MBA. Bryan holds his insurance licenses for Life, Health and Variable Annuities along with the General Lines Property & Casualty.
Kirk joined Brown & Brown family in June 2017 to lead our personal lines division. He has been in the personal lines insurance industry since 2002. After working in the financial side as a life and health agent he opened his own independent insurance agency in Brevard county with his brother/partner in 2006. Kirk believes “leading by example” so he likes battling with his team in the trenches daily. In his free time Kirk enjoys refinishing furniture and traveling new parts of Florida with his wife and furry babies.
